A Short Simple Story

A Short Simple Story by mK

Once there lives a boy who went over to a foreign country for a few years due to his dad's business. The whole family went over n resides at his dad's frenz place. His dad's friend is a local over there n has a daughter which is of somewad same age as him. Being the only foreign kid in e town, he is all alone. However tt little gal befriends him. Though there is a little difficulty in communicating due to e language barrier, they 2 still have gd fun n have many wonderful moments, even when they are left alone most of the time. They will walk along the shores of the beach and play in e fields, they will explore their big house together. Once they climb a tree and sat on the branch and admire view of the sun-set together, side-by-side. It got chilly and he offer her his scarf. Soon time flies and was time for e little boy to go back to his own country. The girl's family and the little girl sent the boy's family and the boy to their car and they waved at each other as the car departed. The boy did not leave the girl out of his sight and continued waving at her as the car went further and further away. And that was the last time he saw her.

Many years have passed, and now the boy is already a grandfather. He has a successful business and his son has already been married and have a son. He has retired and has finally peacefully laying back and enjoying life. His hair is all white and face is filled with fine lines. He decided to go back to the place where he went when he was young, hoping to find the little girl that he once was with. He took a flight down and made his way to the town. The town was the same as before and he went abt searching for e girl, who is a lady by now. He searched through every building and asked around, but still failed. He decided to go to the park to take a slow stroll and rest, the very same park tt he once went with her to play. As he sat down on the bench, he saw a little girl. That little girl was running with arms outstretch. He looked at her and began to remember the times he shared with his friend. The little girl stopped running and her grandmother picked her up. She embraced her. A cold gush of wind blew and the grandma took out a scarf and wrapped around her grand-daughter. The man saw the scarf and was the exact same one. After all these years it was still the same scarf in good condition.

He stood up and approach her and their eyes met.

wow!got the shock of my life!. thanks rach and ling!Its really nice! ling..im sure la..thats just a nice way of saying my _a_r was crappy. but it looked fine in a few photos..lalala =)

Anw, earlier left with mk to have supper with my pri 1 classmate, zi kai.
I think its really God's plan to have met him and what he told me. The bus didnt even come so he eneded up talkin to me! So i wanna share.

At our age,we have come to a point in life where soon, some of us will work,and some will go uni and think of a career. We ain't young anymore (except oli and a few others), and something which i haven't done is to seriously ask God: "What is your plan for me?"

think about it.

We are confused,unsure about what we will be doing in the future. Should i get a degree, will there be jobs, isit what i like blah blah.
But if we pray about it, God will give us direction.

My friend, Zi Kai, tells me about how God spoke to him and gave him direction. He wants to do social science in SMU to build up his interpersonal skills to be a missionary one day. This is not exactly every kid's dream, but it's something God called him to do, and he's slowly seeing how things are opening up along this road.

so, do keep God close to your decision making in life. you won't be unsure of your future =)

Hey guys.. just some thoughts..
We're quite comfortable the way things are.. i mean just looking at our blog.. its the same OLD people haha..
not its not a BAD thing, but i feel, we should do more!
How much results we want to have depends on what our goals are and how much effort we're putting into it. Just look at churches around us who have such great perfection in whatever ministries they do. Its all because they set their standards high.

In the same way, i feel that we should at least make an effort to set some standards as well, in order to achieve greater glory for God. So for a start, punctuality and accountability are top of the list. Cell starts at 7.30 sharp, no delays, we'll start even if theres one person at 7.30. Those who come late without valid reasons wil get fined.

This is the first step. Probably when we are more comfortable meeting higher expectations we will also set higher standards in our workplaces schools etc.. A good example is Jeanette who has been able to reach out to so many people in her workplace! If we don't challenge ourselves we will always be at the same level.
I dont want us to be subsistence farmers..making enough just to eat. Instead, be farmers in demand, sowing seeds everywhere!

And our challenge is..to go out and make disciples for God!
So hope everyone is fine with this, lets be a responsible cell where people wll respect us for our actions and trust us more easily also! That includes QT and prayer!

So take your stand..if you're in..lets do it well.

how's your week been? anyhows, here's a few updates..

1. there will be no more smses pertaining to cell meetings. standard one. haha. at jeanette's house, 7.30 pm. if you're going to be late, please inform chris latest by 6.30 pm on fri okay? if not.. also standard one.. teh ping treat. there's no escaping man. (:
UNLESS there are any last minute changes to the venue, no smses will be sent.

2. EVERY FIRST FRI OF THE MONTH IS PRAYER AND PRAISE AT CHURCH. please do not show up at jeanette's doorstep. you'll prolly have cell on your own then heeheehee.

3. for updates on weekly cell meetings, do check here, like what to bring, what to expect.. we'll post the necessary information here latest wednesday night alrighty.

4. as to the compassvale thing, genesis 127 is doing a wonderful job in trying to bring back what used to be YF for us. they now know it as U12 [short form for "you want to?"] aka youth club. let's support them by going down for the sessions shall we? after all, we're there to show support and to give encouragement to our fellow brothers and sisters in christ who are trying so hard to reach out to the compassvale people. the least we could do is to avail ourselves for that 2-3 hours and join in their praise and worship sessions. let's do this! we'll bless them, the compassvale youths and be enriched ourselves.

let's be a cell that is people-focused, constantly trying to find ways to reach out to others. as auntie yin-mei says..

Sunday's sermon was....very very true.(abit draggy though) We shouldn't treat God like a gap filler. Only when theres a gap in our lives..then we ask him to fill it.

we should treat him much better than this. Remember..he is a DEMANDING God =)

Anw..just finished my day's studies..oh man i'm a cat attractor. I attract all e lor ah soo cats..and they all get jealous and wanna go into catfights. haha ! And 2 cats followed me home la! i have to quickly slam my door.

hey all, watched this movie "be with me" by Eric khoo.. its about this blind and deaf woman,Theresa and how she lives her life in her darkness. She can actually speak,--i have no idea how she does it-- and wrote a book(according to the movie)! And she explains how when she got blind and deaf at 17, it was like someone put a wall around her. A wall no one could break down. Its really hard to imagine being both deaf and blind.

BUT she thanks God! WHY? She's happy to be handicapped but has everything, unlike people who aren't..but have NOTHING.
We can see her love for God in this really extreme case,and how God worked in her life and it really moves me.

Its really an eye opener, shows how she does her cooking, by feeling and sensing e heat etc. The unique thing is this movie has little dialouge, mainlybackground noises. And interestingly there are 3 seperate films combined in a single movie. Whoever wants to watch can borrow the dvd from mee =)

after 2 weeks of staying in camp, coming back to society is a great feeling! we all definitely miss home very much and we all finally appreciate our parents and home!

for me e past 2 weeks in camp is a real challenge- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

physically- its real demanding in this aspect especially when im a commando recruit. everyday there is running. run here run there everywhere run. run to cookhouse, run to the field, run from pt A to pt B etc.. run.. and nt forgetting chinups. this is real impt to me as i need to do at least 12 for my basic airborne selection. so pls ppl pray for me!!!!!!! im trainin hard and outcomes all my blisters! so u can see im trainin real hard for it. the runnin part i can handle it quite well. only chinups. my arm power isnt tt strong n so is my grip. so pls pray for me!! everyday im like doing 200 situps and pushups...

mentally- everything we do is a real test of mental strength. to get pass a day is a real miracle. haha! there are so many things to do n there's nt enough of slp. the brain is sure wipe out/ if nt the body is worn out. 7hrs of slp is like nt enuff for the body to recover. den e exercises are real strenous. besides ur physical strength, the mind is needed to overcome the barrier of laziness. i have to run 10 rounds and thk God im able to sustain thru out the whole run wif a comfortable and controlled pace.

emotionally- the feeling of missing family and frenz is juz pure pain. the feeling of missing home and freedom and fun is a real torture. plus e sergeants and higher up ppl are breathing down on ur neck day n nite. the feeling is juz real dead.

spiritually- with all e hectic schedule and demands, it is easily to stray away from God. not forgetting all the free-flow of vulgarities pouring on u day n nite, plus ur bunkmates spiting out vulgarities, it is so much easy to juz blurt it out and forgettin our christians morals n values.

well nonetheless is all up to me n how strong i am.

and i thank God for blessin me n being wif me all this while.

i thank God for:
1) lenient sergeants and instructors.
by far we have e most lenient instructors around. our platoon commander is also a nice person but also a tough person to be wif. among all platoons, my platoon instructors are like the most lenient. comparing wif others, we have done e least punishments(pushups) and they shouted the least to us. den again e only reason y we gt tekan is becoz of ppl who take advantage of them n climb over there heads.

2)gd bunkmates and platoonmates.
my bunk out of 16 ppl there is like 8-9 christians. maybe more im nt sure but there is alot. n i thank God that they are christians n we can talk abt the bible and christian stuffs. though they tend to wane, but we will always remind one another of God! =) my platoon has also quite a number of NCC ppl. thus our platoon is able to adapt and help one another fast. most of the things done in NCC is much simliar to camp so we are able to cope with the demands.

3)for God being so faithful and gd to me
He has indeed help me alot. though everything is up to me, He is there to ensure my safety and gives me encouragements. i thank God for all His help.

i needa train hard in my pullups. i really wish i can shine in my platoon n hopefully get to leader course. gettin in to commandos is a real honour and i believe God has placed me there for a reason and i hope to optimise it and make the best out of it.

that is all wad i wanna say..

oh..

wanna thank the cell for being there for me at nite.. haha..
ppl like chris, joshua blah blah tt i can call them at nite. after one whole day of work is nice to hear some frenly voices! ahahahhaa!! and thks to those who have been praying for me. ur prayers certainly helped me alot.

for anyone going through a tough patch, i'd recommend that you pick up this book, the bondage breaker. i've not been an avid reader in the past few months, and few books have caught my eye. but this book managed to keep me engrossed after 2 chapters. anyhows, there are many quotables in the book, and this is just one of the many worth remembering.

yesterday was the epitome of 'a horrible day'. nothing went right, even my computer didn't function properly. so it came to a point when i quit trying cos there was really no point. it felt like everytime i tried to make things right, i was flinging myself into yet another concrete wall. so when my comp hanged, i totally shut off everything and decided, God, You take over. so i just stood there in the dark looking out of my window, and it felt as if God was there, and everything seemed to resonate with His goodness. then this song came to my mind..

there couldn't be any song more apt than that, cos it spelt out exactly what i was feeling and what i could not put into words. God brought me to my tears yet again, and as i'm continually humbled by His love, care and concern for us, i pray that all of you would too.

and for those that have given up on the power of prayer, let me share this with you..
yest i went for AA with a really bad flu. i left my house sneezing every 5 seconds and when i found out that i had to be on duty, i really wondered how i was ever going to do that without letting parents worry about me passing the flu bug on to their kids. but anyhows when auntie jennifer and the children prayed for me, i could really feel the flu lifting off. somehow i made it through, and that was not without the faith of the kids at AA and auntie jennifer's firm belief in the power of prayer. (:

moral of the story? KEEP THE FAITH. (:

OKOK!! MY FINAL LAST FEW WORDS BEFORE I FINALLY OFFICALLY LEAVE FOR NS!!!!

some info first..

i will be confine for 2 weeks.. tt will be 14 days.. so counting from the 6th, i will most likely be released on the 20th.. so maybe i will come out on the 3rd weekend of this month.. by den i will be all bald n tan n fit. =P and i can only offically be a commando some time in november.. i will be gg through all the normal bmt stuffs tt all soliders will go thru.. den after tt i will commence my commando training.. o wells.. im gg to give my best for all.. haha!! yeah positive attitude! =)

if i book out on a friday. i will rush down for cell!! den i will share wif u all some interesting stories and events tt taken place.. n share abt my platoon or bunkmates etc..

im gg to pasir ris camp! tt means im nt leavin the island.. im still in mainland Singapore but in a far away n remote area tt u cannot hear my screams and cries.. haha!! o manz y am i joking abt this.. ok nvm..

thks to all those who came down for e last dinner wif me.. i appreciate it alot.. all the lame jokes and fellowshiping sure will be missed.. most of all i will definitely miss the company.. so im bring pics to my camp.. pics of the cell and my frenz n family.. and nt forgettin my bible.. the Lord is my strength! rite now im feelin a bit jittery.. so as all my other frenz gg in wif me.. like gg for exams.. juz tt this is far worst.. coz i dunno wad to expect. there isnt anything to study.. haha!! is like a total whole new subject n u dunno wad to study for but is gg to affect ur future.. the uncertainty is kinda freakin me out..

now gg to NS is like gg back to NCC like tt.. haha!! aiya dunno laaaa!!

i hope things are like not so tough la.. as in i hope there is no sergeants or officers wif some bad-ass attitude.. wont go abusing his power and all tt.. my dad says his time still have but now shouldnt have.. o wells juz go n see!

somehow i feel that God placed me in this commando thing. is his path n choice for me. n im walkin it! though be a commando is prestigious and all.. but it comes wif a price.. a high one which im gg to experience.

things to pray for:

1)safety!!
super duper uper impt!!! i dun wanna die!!! haha=P pray tt God will protect me from any harm or danger of any means. nowadays alot of news abt ppl dieing while training.. pray tt God will lay his hands on me n bless me! pray tt there wont be any accidents like truck bang tree or wad.. yupz!

2)strength
both physical n mental.. this 2 really comes together n i really them both.. all the route march and running.. is all in the mind.. but the body muz also be able to sustain! muz endure all the hardships and sufferings. so i really need them both. trainin is gg to be tough but i hope my body can also grow stronger and can cope wif it. pray tt God will bless me n pray tt i will rely on God for strength. He is my source of strength man! yeah~

3)excellence
haha.. i wanna do well in NS.. wanna be the best!!!! =P okok dun be so ego ah.. pray tt God will be merciful and grant me excellence.. tt i can shine in my platoon or company(4 platoons).. somehow or another.. God will have his ways so i pray tt i can shine. ultimately i hope to have a fruitful time in NS.. tt i can learn something n will benefit me when i finish and come out to the working world!

4)leniency
pray tt all e sergeants and officers dun be so harsh.. dun go over-board.. u know.. be reasonable n rational.. be merciful!!!!

5) spirits
errr nt wad u thinking.. pray tt i will always turn to God for strength and will contantly pray n seek Him.. tt i will grow spiritually and be a light in the platoon or company.

6)confidence
also pray for me tt i will have e confidence to things n carry out orders well. tt i will nt fumble and falter.. tt im able to display my leadership n help my platoon-mates.

BEN, you've brought so much life to the cell. thank you for all those thoughtful messages during the highly stressful exam period. they certainly made me remember that i still can smile! (: i still remember when you guys first came to our church last year and you and oli were ever so quiet during cell. well, things are so different now and it's really a joy having you and oli around! STU, you're the walking encyclopedia of the cell. thank you for sharing your wisdom and your knowledge with all of us. because of you, we've learnt so much more, benefited and are able to better understand and better witness to others. haha. although we both grew up in st paul's, i didn't really get to know you till we were both in upper sec. oh wells. but glad you're in uthcell with us now! haha!

TAB, i think out of all our cell members, i prolly have known you for the longest time man. well, not counting rach. yeah. haha. it's funny how we were so close when we were young. anyhows, it's great that you're back with us and attending cell. okok to start off, this is my very first entry n i dun think i will be able to view this blog or write anything for the next 2-3 weeks.. or rather 4.. i dunno. see how things go first.

lets see how i should start off..

i stumbled onto Chris after months of nt seein each other at some rugby matches.. he was den takin pics and was kinda stunned by such nice pics he can take.. of coz u know his camera is those very zai one.. definitely nt his skills la.. is all in the camera man.. all he does is to press the button. and anyway i asked him to take pics for me for my season which went really off!! but wif his gd camera he took some nice pics for me n my team.

soon our contact became more frequent and things started to roll into place. we did a bit of catching up and chatted like until late in the nite sometimes like tt time during my midyrs and i have physics exam the next day n we were talkin abt our ex-gf. ok anyway, its real great to finally meet someone tt was once close to me. He n i was in NCC and had worked together alot. i decided to pop by to see his cell since he was sharing to me tt he was e cell leader now. ego la u know~ so beginning of this yr i went to his cell.

in his little cozy cell, there were only 3-4 ppl.. haha!! so there i met Josh n Kailing. Stu n Marc comes down occasionally and so does WeiHan.. and lynette. Soon i got aquainted with everyone. for the first few times i pop by, there were only a few fellas.. Chris seeeeemmmmss to be having a hard time doing cell, so me come to his cell to give him some help. well i might nt be so incline wif the bible or have some nice verses are my sleeve, but it hink it is impt to give support to someone tt actually puts in effort to help keep things in place and keep them going. so cell attendance was like 3+1 or 4+1.. u know.. it fluctuates. sometimes high sometimes low..

Josh has always been a frenly person. still rmb those days when i first went to his place, he was always smiling and payin attention to things i have to say. Ling will be there, though quiet, but still participative(is there such a word?). though cell was small, but we try our best to keep things going. den after cell we go kick ball! wahahhahaha!! fellowshippin is fun. headed to the nearby coffeeshop to eat n drink. den along came Ben N Olivia.. erm.. hmmmm.. sounds like..

ok nvm. after awhile things still like haven improved. so decided to join Chris n help him a bit here n there.. wadever i can i try. my debut in cell was during Jeanette b'day! haha!! man it was so fun!

somehow i think God really like hold the cell together after Jeanette's B'day. after all the fun n laughter we all had.. cell attendance starts to improve!!! by far tt b'day was like having the best attendance!! n so the ppl start coming in. Boon joined us for cell den.. the once filled-with-chris-voice living room is startin to be packed. those sofas there were once occupied by Josh, Ling, Chris and sometimes-those-ppl are now filled by the cell. so much so tt i have to sit on the floor now! it sure is a great sight!

i guess tt is all for me to say abt e growth of Uth cell under my eyes. =P

To me, after joining Uth cell, ive been blessed with frenz tt i knew i can speak to n be wif. frenz den i can laugh wif n play wif. tt's real impt to me considering tt my school's environment aint tt ideal n i was facing some personal problems and challanges. especially those times when im having my A levels and prelims, Uth cell had been there for me.

Chris was there for me to talk rubbish with.
helps me to clear my head n all the problems and stress i face. nt forgettin talk abt rugby whole day long n always there to improve ourselves.

Josh was there every afternoon at TP library to study with me.
THOSE TIMES WERE THE BEST!!!
we had our guy talks and shared our personal experiences with each other. Had rojak for lunch n teh-ping. study our heads off for physics and maths. read comics and talk abt star wars. still rmb once we being sacrastic with one another and eventually laugh like some siao kias. the gers were starrin at us and started laughing also!!!

Kailing was there when i had my so-freaking-difficult prelims n hear me rant n whine.
she's there to offer her encouragements and support when i feel very down after i had my disaster papers.

Jeanette, XinTian and Stu was there for me during A levels. at each weekend in church and cell, we will be talking abt the papers we all had!! den we will also check on each other how our progress for our revision has been. also wanna thanked Jean for teachin me maths. and also for teaching others! haha!!

Marc was there to crack me up with his silly 'wise' jokes during cell. others also had their part to play in keepin this cell alive and always checkin on one another. Like Ben msging me, askin me how was my Maths paper(it was horrible, haiz!)

oh wells, this yr has been pretty eventful for me. and im sure it has been so for everyone.

always remember to keep your faith alive! always believe n trust God! He will help u get through all the problems.

by now u all know tt im gg for my NS le..
I believe God send me to Commandos for some reason n i hope i can excel n shine in it.
so pray for me, pray for safety and excellence.

A YEAR GONE BY

Hey all, heres me,just wanting to say somethings to summarize the year we shared together.
(bear with me :) )
cell started out..really crappy. for all who witnessed it, everything went wrong. and i mean EVERYTHING!things were going really rough, many times, it was just the 4 of us-me,tian,josh,ling. pretty demoralising haha.. BUT i really REALLY wanna THANK all who stood by me..no matter WHAT. listening to my boring things which you already knew..
i also remember how stupidly hard headed i was(sometimes am)..like the time we went tuas..got everyone wet, and everyone was pissed and i didn't make it any better. Just wanna apologise to you guys(marc josh ling), sincerely.
Sorry for all the bad calls i have made , the people i have pissed off, for being so selfish , and for completely messing things up.

but of course God answers..throughout all the times i messed up, we prayed. So(apparently) we prayed alot. And the result is now! God really really answered our prayers about growing as a cell and growing in numbers! And of course God made everything that was all over the place suddenly fall in place so nicely..

I will never forget all the nonsense we did. like..letting russty in ben's house. playing pig. screaming girls(ben included) and jumping prawns. ben reacting about A hole. TRYING to study together but ended up talking bout polo. and so on.. hohohoho

POINT is.. whatever screw ups that happened. Lets learn from it. EVERYTHING is reset to zero..you know kosong? egg? ji dan? bola? 0?means we're starting all over again..okay, what's past is past, just going to look forward. GO GO GO!
New people will be joining us,lets continue to grow.

Lets be a cell of love. That each of us will love one another SO much that there will be no hatred, nothing. All disputes will be settled in love..faith is useless without love. This is my resolution.

okay it's my turn! this looks pretty fun -GRIN-

1. i wish i knew how to burp properly (i've been wishing this for at least 5 yrs already). letting gas out of our bodies is such a pleasure! but all i can do now is fart which is disgusting whereas burping is less disgusting thus it is unfair to me!

2. i love to smell my spoon after eating (it must be a metal spoon to get the correct smell)!

3. i have a very dirty and tattered teddy bear that is only 2 yrs my jnr! the eccentric part is, till this day, i literally love it and talk to it as though she was a real baby....hee.

4. i cannot live without my small bolster that i rub my feet on when i slp. cos it's so old and bumpy it's like a massage when you rub across it!

5. i like to eat mish-mashed food. anything goes.

6. the colours i look at are extremely important to me. they largely control my mood. like i purposely put my pink econs book on my table instead of the shelf cos it just makes me feel more energetic at work.

7. i LOVE to cry. it makes me feel so human! but the aftermath is undesirable -- ugly puffy japanese eyes..nooooo....

8. i have an EXTREMELY wild imagination. you can never guess how wild.

9. i think some of you know this - i like to pick/pluck things from the roadside. like wild flowers/ cute kinds of weeds/ interesting tree seeds/ leaves/ rocks.. but i try to stop doin it after i had some infection on my hands. and my friends said i was cruel :(

10. i love to cut my nails! i'll leave them until they're pretty long and then i'll cut them. and then i'd admire how long they were! it's a reflectn of my discipline hhaha since i love to cut nails, it's no fun cutting them when they're still so short right! so i always have to wait patiently for them to grow..grrrr....

okay the end! i think i still have many many more though hehe. everyone please do this! it's actually fun!!

-No EXPLOSION. Cos we'll be stopping at Phuket for a day.

1. Just to shhutter..i mean share.. my camera shutter died. And supposed to cost me $250! And i was super freaked out because..it spoilt on thurs, and i have a wedding to shoot on sat! (which is today). THANK GOD..he helped me get the cam repaired in 1 day!! Amazing! and it cost $173 instead!
2. Some of you'all have heard that the chicken rice aunty at marina gives me special discount.. Hmm i wonder why.. *act blur*

hi all.. i've been bakin stuffs again! this time i'm baking bread into crunchy biscuits taht you can eat with tuna/sardines/shit/anything. it's worth 10000 pots of drool! im gonna grow fat eating. so to prevent that, next time i'll bring some so you all can share the fats. some of you, or rather one of you, can have a larger portion! hehe. lucky pig. grrrrr... im extremely tired.

oh i jus went for a facial.. dun luff. it was EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY PAAAIIINNFFFULLLL!!!! imagine paying money to experience the thrill of intense pain that almost caused me to blackout. it was like acute pain shooting through my brains every 2 secs. she was digging out all the dirt under my skin. which was like 1 per 0.1mm of skin. and now i look like i walked right into a swarm of bees. but it's better than the last time i went when i wished i had a paper bag with three holes so the people on the streets wouldn't go into a state of alarm and nobody would peep at me in the mrt. ARGGHGHGH!!!! please pray that my face will heal fast. i dont wanna look like the phantom of toapayoh. (anw this is all part of the treatment it's supposed to be like that. ah the price of beauty.)

i went to check out our Blog..den sudden'y there was some Tropical Music playing! I'm like huhhhh?!? did jeanette or someone add in the music?? wow soo hardworking.. haha.. CHEY!..It was just a pop-up add which opened by the side that played the music..

Anw just want to share..After dinner, there was some reaction in my tummy.. BAD reaction. It was this awful pain, but not pain that can be endured.. It caused so much discomfort that i was actually RoLLING around in pain. Terrible Terrible. I prayed for God to heal me, it stopped! BUT...continued again with greater intensity. Was like feeling TOTALLY NUMB, and Weak.. I tried to get to sleep so i won't feel it..After a pretty loong time i managed to doze off, phew. NOw awake and mugging.. Just thought I'll share this =) NOTE*I Don't think its my mummy's cooking cos she and my sis didn't get it.. i Hope its not, maybe i ate a cockroach by mistake or something. =S.

Braces

EEKS!

Everyone knows i've been wearing braces for abt 4 years..i got transferred to a better dentist recently after my mum went down to complain..hehe.

ANYWAYS..went for appointment today-the dentist removed ALL my braces, and glued/cemented it all back again! OUCH! den she todl me i have 2 wisdom teeth that are collecting bacteria and have to get it removed!! OUCH!! my sis removed hers recently..they cut up her gum to remove it.. now i gotta do that..X2!

has anyone removed theirs? wad does it feel like?
